Delete your account
Last updated: 16 June 2026
You can ask us to delete your HJachi account and the personal information associated with it at any time. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and what we may be required to keep.
How to request deletion
Choose whichever is easiest:
- In the app - open Account → Delete account and confirm. This works for both clients and practitioners.
- By email - write to privacy@hjachi.com from the email address on your account (or include enough detail for us to verify your identity). No app install is required.
What happens next
- We confirm your request and schedule your data for deletion.
- There is a 30-day grace period during which you can change your mind and cancel the request from within the app or by contacting us.
- After the grace period, we permanently delete your account access and the personal information we hold for your account (such as your name, contact details, sign-in credentials, and device records).
What we may have to keep
Where HJachi holds clinical records on behalf of a practice, that practice is required by professional and legal rules in its region to retain those records for a set period. In that case we retain the minimum information required, separate it from active use, and permanently delete it when the retention period ends. We will tell you what is being retained and why. For requests specifically about clinical records, your practice or provider is the first point of contact.
