Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of HJachi. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Accounts & eligibility

HJachi is intended for licensed psychologists, clinical counsellors, and the people they support. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and for activity under your account. You must hold and maintain any professional registration required to practise in your jurisdiction.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the platform unlawfully, or in breach of professional or ethical obligations.
Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorised to access.
Interfere with the security or integrity of the service, or reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law.
Record or process anyone without the consent required by law and by these terms.

3. Clinical responsibility

HJachi is a tool that supports your practice - it is not a medical device and does not provide clinical advice. You remain the treating professional and are solely responsible for clinical decisions, the accuracy and completeness of records, and compliance with your regulatory and record-keeping obligations. HJachi is not a crisis service; in an emergency, contact local emergency services.

4. Your data & consent

You retain ownership of the content you and your practice put into HJachi. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the service. You are responsible for obtaining and recording valid consent before recording or processing sessions. Consent management is enforced in the product, but the underlying consent obligation rests with you.

5. AI-assisted notes

HJachi can generate draft clinical notes from confirmed transcripts. Drafts are a starting point only. You must review, correct, and sign each note before it becomes part of the clinical record. Once signed, notes are locked and any changes are tracked as separate amendments.

6. Service availability

We work to keep HJachi available and performant, but the service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may perform maintenance, update features, or modify the platform. We'll give reasonable notice of material changes that affect you.

7. Fees & subscriptions

Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle shown at sign-up and renew automatically unless cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We'll give notice before any price change takes effect.

8. Intellectual property

The HJachi platform, brand, and software are owned by HJachi and protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service - not to copy, resell, or create derivative works from it.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HJachi is provided without warranties of any kind, and our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to comply with the law. On termination, you may export your data for a reasonable period, after which it may be deleted in line with our Privacy Policy and your retention settings.

11. Changes & contact

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notified to you. Questions? Email hello@hjachi.com.
